We’ve just closed our day 2 and all we can say is… woah! On day one, Kinga flew 5 times, slope landing 3 of those to make her way up each mountain in her path and take off. Her route left her to sleep on a mountain near Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at the end of the day. This kept her in a great position to launch early in the morning.
Day two can be summarized as WET. However she still squeezed in two flights to take her from 25th to 22nd. These flights were short and sweet, breaking up the serious amount of pavement pounding all the athletes were enduring today. What an adventure this adventure race is turning out to be! It was all smiles at the end of the day, even at the rainy camp.
