Why did you choose the X-Pyr?
I want to finally explore the Pyrenees.
What is your greatest sporting success?
Many, but PWC Superfinal 2023 10th place, World Championships 2013 8th and X-Alps 2021 9th are the biggest.
When and why did you start paragliding?
I started because of and together with my father.
What is your mountaineering experience?
Lots of mountain running, ski touring and hiking.
What are your best and worst sporting memories?
To many good and only few bad.
Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
No, will be my 1st time.
Is there anything you like to see (or not) in the route?
No idea.
Apart from flying far and walking little, what will your strategy be during the race?
Fly as much as I can and stay cool.
What does your typical training week consist of?
6 days of running, ski touring, road cycling and of course H&F depending on the weather.
What has been the hardest part of your race preparation so far?
To fill in this form 🙂
What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
Seeing a totally new area.
What worries you the most about the event?
Not knowing the mountains at all.
How do you know your assistant?
Very well.
What are your assistant’s main strengths?
Will see who will come with me.
What advice would you ask of the race veterans?
No idea.
