“Why did you choose the X-Pyr?
I’ve only been there once to fly, I want to know it better
What is your greatest sporting success?
Top 10 at all the french h&f
When and why did you start paragliding?
4.5 years ago, to go down from alpine route. No thermal at that time, it made me sick.
What is your mountaineering experience?
8 years of alpine climbing.
What are your best and worst sporting memories?
Best : The end of the eigertour on the 3rd day, 1 minute before deadline.
Worst : Landed at 2pm on a very good day on the first day of the b2f 2022.
Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
Once for the PWC Targasonne.
Is there anything you like to see (or not) in the route?
As little asl the cloudy/rainy side as possible. We already have the first 80km to run, let’s fly the rest 😉
Apart from flying far and walking little, what will your strategy be during the race?
Blindly following “”those who know better”” hahaha
What does your typical training week consist of?
10h of endurance training (skitouring, trail and h&f)
Flying as much as possible with work.
What has been the hardest part of your race preparation so far?
Running on the flat. With bag …
What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
Crossing from sea to sea !
What worries you the most about the event?
Rain and wind.
How do you know your assistant?
We shared a house for a few years
What are your assistant’s main strengths?
Its competitive mind.
What advice would you ask of one of the race veterans?
How do you pack so fast ?
Anything else you like to comment?
seriously, let us fly, don’t send us to the rainy/cloudy part too much 🙁
